InStop offers a computer program designed to assist companies with management of insider trading concerns. InStop enables companies to offer individual trading plans to any number of employees who may have access to inside information. Using a series of simple menus, the software program gives employees the opportunity to design their own Rule 10b5-1 trading plans and submit them for company approval. Individuals are responsible for executing their scheduled trades through a broker. InStop allows employees to adopt plans to diversify their holdings without fear that subsequent exposure to inside information will prevent them from realizing their goals.
